The Psychology of Eating

How It Can Help You.

What is the Psychology of Eating?

Welcome to The Psychology of Eating: A Mind-Body Approach to Food, Weight & Self-Worth

You don’t need another diet. You need a deeper understanding of yourself.

If you've spent years trying to fix your weight, your eating habits, or your body through willpower, shame, or the latest food trend... it’s time for something different.

The Psychology of Eating program is not about calorie counting, food rules, or chasing an ideal body. It’s about getting to the root of why food feels complicated — and finally making peace with it.

This program is for you if…

  • You’ve done every diet under the sun and still feel stuck in the same cycle

  • You think about food more than you’d like to admit

  • You eat when you're stressed, bored, overwhelmed — or all three

  • You struggle with body shame, especially in midlife

  • You’re tired of the “all or nothing” thinking around food and want a new way

  • You’re ready to feel better — not just weigh less

  • You want to explore the emotional, psychological, and even spiritual side of eating

  • You’re open to unlearning diet culture and reconnecting with your own body wisdom

This is a gentle, science-informed, no-judgment space to explore your relationship with food, weight, and self-worth.

Food as a Coping Mechanism, Emotional Eating, Stress Eating

Psychotherapy is the Missing Link for Food and Body Issues

What You'll Learn:

✅ The hidden beliefs driving your eating patterns

✅ How stress, emotion, and past experiences affect your metabolism and hunger
✅ Why overeating isn’t about lack of control (and what it’s really about)
✅ How to use mindfulness, self-compassion, and body cues to guide your choices
✅ How to shift your story around food and weight — from self-punishment to self-respect

This is where nutrition meets psychology, where biology meets biography — and where your story begins to change.

Who This Is Not For

To be clear and respectful of your time (and mine), this program is not for you if:

  • You’re looking for a rapid weight loss solution or “before and after” photos

  • You want strict food rules or a rigid meal plan

  • You’re unwilling to explore emotional or mindset-based approaches

  • You’re currently in treatment for an active eating disorder (this program can complement treatment later, but is not a substitute for medical or clinical care)

  • You want someone to “fix” your eating for you instead of doing the deeper work

How It Works

Right now, this program is offered exclusively as 1:1 coaching or psychotherapy sessions, depending on your needs and location.

This means you won’t be lost in a group or left to figure things out on your own. You’ll have my full attention as we:

  • Explore the root causes of your eating challenges

  • Identify the patterns, stressors, and beliefs that keep you stuck

  • Build new, sustainable habits rooted in kindness and body awareness

  • Work through emotional eating, self-sabotage, and midlife body image with honesty and care

  • Create a completely personalized path forward — no cookie-cutter approach, no shame

Sessions are held virtually and tailored to you. You choose the pace, the focus, and the goals — I’ll help guide the process with expertise, compassion, and accountability.

The Invitation

This isn’t about “fixing” your body. It’s about healing your relationship with it.

If you’re ready to stop battling food, obsessing over the scale, or blaming yourself for not having more willpower — you’re not alone. And more importantly, you don’t have to do this alone.

This is your chance to finally understand what’s been going on beneath the surface — and to learn how to eat, move, and care for yourself in a way that actually feels good (and lasts).
